Your Association was formed in 1975 'to provide sporting and social facilities for the Parish of Lower Beeding'. The hall, together with its excellent kitchen and changing room facilities, is used for many and varied purposes including:

  • Parties
  • Dances and Discos
  • Exhibitions
  • Classes
  • Lectures
  • Demonstrations
  • Rehearsals
  • Wedding Receptions
  • Bridge Drives
  • Race Nights
  • Rainbows
  • Brownies and guides
  • Dog training
  • And much more!

Hiring charges are competitive with special discounts for villagers! The comfortable, friendly and well stocked bar can be made available by prior arrangement.

During the Summer several local Cricket teams play at weekends including Cowfold and Lower Beeding CC and the Crabtree Cavaliers. Occasional evening matches also take place. The bar is always open during and after Cricket matches and all spectators are welcome to enjoy the game and a pint of real ale!

The Lower Beeding Lemurs Stoolball team play on Wednesday evenings and in the Winter months Lower Beeding Junior Football Club play on Saturday mornings.

The LBHS Spring and Summer Shows, the Summer Fete and the Church's Christmas Market are all held in the village hall and advertised in advance.
